Karen Hock and Cari Utendorf from The Ohio State University Comprehensive Breast Center have focused their effort on establishing and implementing a comprehensive prehabilitation model that includes a functional assessment as well as ongoing lymphedema surveillance. Join them as they discuss the efficacy of early-detection at OSU and share how a pre-operative assessment program can present opportunities to treat subclinical lymphedema, improving the quality of care delivered to patients.
Key Takeaways:
- Efficacy of a prehabilitation model-of-care for lymphedema monitoring
- Improve breast cancer patient quality care and a better quality of life for the patient
- Clinical utility of SOZO for assessing secondary lymphedema
